The Tondeo TM Razor is a professional grade 'straight' razor used by barbers all over the world. Thanks to the protected blade edges on both sides and the curved 'tang' allowing the razor to be steadied with a finger, the TM offers comfort as well as easier and safer handling for the user. The TM features a solid metal blade holder and metal handle with a plastic shell. It is compatible with short, halved TCR blades.

The Tondeo TM has all the advantages of an open razor with the added hygiene of replaceable blades. Supplied with a pack of 10 Tondeo TCR Razor Blades

All skin types. Can be used by professional barbers for shaving & cutting hair.

Grooming tip

For best results, always try to keep the blade at an angle of approximately 30 degrees to the skin.

    The German quality really shows through on this great value for money razor! If you are looking for a straight style razor, want something that is a bit more weighty and high quality than a Dovo Shavette but don't want the full hassle of strops, pastes, stones and honing then this is a great option. This razor seems to sit nicely between the low cost shavette razors that take standard DE blades and the top end of the Feather Artist range. Note that the Tondeo does use proprietary blades - defined by two circular holes that keep the blade true in the razor.

    Gives a very enjoyable close shave. Beautiful, simple, well-made. The Tondeo TCR blades, also made in Germany, are of very high quality. Do not be deceived by the relatively low price of this razor compared to a traditional straight or a Feather 'Artists Club' open razor. I also possess a Thiers-Issard Spartacus which is a lovely razor - but for sharpness and convenience I find that it's the Tondeo razor that I come back to every day.
