Brand Information

Floid

The original Floîd was used in Madrid and Barcelona in the traditional barber shops of these vibrant cities. It has a certain cachet amongst shaving fans in Spain and Italy. The formula has not changed since 1932; it is neither mild nor modern, but it soothes the skin and reduces irritation after shaving. Introduced and unchanged in its native Spain, it's also sold in an amended form in Italy. The Spanish version is sharper and with a more potent smell, the Italian takes a more soft approach - and there's less alcohol to sting your skin. But no matter which version you go for, both have the same vintage-style graphics on both bottle and packaging, not to mention bakelite-style caps!

    Old-fashioned and good value

Posted by Ferrum on 17th Jun 2014

This has a really pleasant old-fashioned scent, more subtle and less aggressive than many "modern" aftershaves. The 400ml offers excellent value, and the optional vapouriser is excellent for a controlled application. Highly recommended.
