Product Description

Valobra Shaving Soap Stick - 50g

Product

Valobra shaving sticks are rich with Tallow, Coconut Oil & Glycerin. This shaving soap is incredibly rich and produces an unbelievable lather, promising a clean shave with a soft, supple touch to the skin. Simply a must try brand!

How to use

Apply either with or without a shaving brush. With a brush, simply work the top of the soap with a wet (not soaking) shaving brush until the bristles are 'loaded' with shaving soap. Now apply the soap to the areas to be shaved. Always use strong circular movements as this softens the bristles and also raises them ready for shaving. Without a brush, wet the stick and apply directly to face then use hands to lather. Again use a firm pressure and circular motion. In both scenarios wait for 20 seconds after applying and then razor off. Afterwards, rinse the face thoroughly. NB. We would recommend use with a brush.

  4. First Class 5 Star Review

This is a wonderful product. Its quality is immediately apparent. I may try a few other travel sticks, but only out of curiousity. I am certain it is the one I shall return to. I imagine that this company's range of domestic soaps are also superb. There is nothing worse that poor quality soap, be it be bath soap or shaving soap.

  5. Very good stick at a great price 5 Star Review

Lathers quite well as you'd expect from Valobra. Might need a bit of practice to get the water ration right but so far the results have been good. Very mild soapy/clay like scent which is unobtrusive and doesn't clash with aftershave or cologne. Skin feels smooth and moisturised afterwards. Totally recommended.

  7. The Best Soap Stick a Wet Shaver can get! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 9th Jan 2014

I first tried this two years ago and it was love at first sight. Why? There are dozens of soap sticks on the market right? Don't kid yourself, this is the king of them all. Firstly, it smells so good, think of old barber shop in the 70s when the world was a better place. Secondly it drums up a superb lather, thick luxurious and creamy. Whether you whack it with a boar brush, tickle it with a badger or simple rub it on in a face lather job it will astound you with the best quality lather money can buy. Valobra represents the zenith of soap sticks for me. Nothing comes close and no serious wet shaver should be without a stick in their den! Buy it, you know you want it!

Valobra

It was over a century ago that Virgilio Valobra established in Genoa, his plant for the production of fine Italian soap. He was determined to strictly adhere to the formulas and methods of the master European soap manufacturers of the 18th century. Those masters made the Riviera between Portofino and Marseille a region renowned for some of the world's finest soap. Valobra Soap, high quality, vegetable based, hand-made Italian soaps and shave preparations, in production since 1903.
