Its a very rich shaving creme. You use only a little bit of the creme and it is very refreshing because menthol is inside.

It's cooler than Palmolive Classic (with palm extract) cream on more than one level! You only need a tiny amount and a wet brush to get a really generous lather; even a novice to using a brush and cream could get a great lather with this. The scent is a bit minty, however there's a slight medicinal quality that you get with products containing menthol. As I was applying more cream for my 2nd pass I also thought the scent reminded me a bit of the clove-like smell in some toothpastes. It's subtle though. The best thing about this cream? The menthol kick. It doesn't disappoint. I could feel it around my top lip area pretty quickly after applying the cream. However when I splashed water on my face after my first pass my whole beard area felt cool. I enjoyed that cool feeling so much I didn't want to wash my face after my shave. Looking forward to using this cream in the summer already.

Slick cream, good value

I live in a hard water area and sometimes getting a good lather can be difficult but not with this cream. It lathered up quickly and was a good thick consistency. I've never tried menthol soaps and creams before but this was great and I'll be using it a lot during the summer.

Very good cream and I love the minty freshness. Perhaps never used enough but I had to reapply for a third pass. An ideal substitute to Proraso green (which I also love) for the warmer summer months.

Today I have shaved first time with this cream. Excellent product;very fresh, cooling sensation is much more better than Proraso or Omega and other mentholated shaving cream. Highly recommended!
