How to use

Product can be used directly from the stick and simply work the top of the soap with a wet (not soaking) shaving brush until the bristles are 'loaded' with shaving soap. Now apply the soap to the areas to be shaved, using the shaving brush in a strong circular motion. This softens the hairs and also raises them ready for shaving. Alternatively rub the wet soap stick all over the area to be shaved then lather the shaving soap directly on the skin again using the shaving brush in a strong circular motion. When finished briefly rinse the top of the soap and shake excess water off before replacing the top.

Grooming Tip

Even though you can get a REAL nice lather from this soap, here's what we like to do. Whip this stuff up into a THICK lather. Not fluffy. So when it is fluffy, keep whippin' a bit till it is really thick, almost paste like. Then shave away - man, afterwards you have yourself one of those shaves where ya keep running your hand over your face cause you can't believe how smooth it is.

From 1870-1885 Ogallala was the destination of countless cowboys driving cattle north from Texas to the railhead. It's a sure bet that as the boys hit town one of their first stops was a barbershop for a bath, shave and a haircut. After being splashed (quite generously) with the barber's own special mix of Bay Rum, he was ready to hit the saloon and talk to the young ladies who were anxious to sell him drinks...we'll leave it at that.
